One of the greatest things about teaching at UHart is developing relationships with students. The small class size lets me really get to know my students. This helps me to challenge them within their coursework, but also to help them solidify plans for after graduation.
The secret to never skipping class?

Just ask Sebastian DiMauro, B.S., '18
Less than 48 hours after celebrating the Hartford Hawks baseball team winning its first regular season America East Championship, pitcher Sebastian DiMauro crossed the stage to celebrate graduating magna cum laude with a degree in biochemistry.
This year, he plans to work for a cancer research company, apply to PhD programs in biochemistry and pharmacology (he is already accepted to two), and then return to UHart to take courses and play another baseball season (he has one more year of eligibility).
