We aren’t the same, and we were never meant to be.
We’re a diverse campus and a community of varied interest, talents, and worldviews. Part of the beauty of uhart is that we encourage our students to embrace that eclectic mix and to add to it through a wide range of clubs, activities, and organizations.
At uhart, you can join more than 100 student clubs and organizations spanning improv comedy and a capella to ultimate frisbee, photography, and robotics. Whatever you are passionate about, we have a club for you.
With two performing arts schools on campus, you can also enjoy free concerts, musicals, art shows, and exhibitions. We also have lots of traditions like our midnight breakfast before finals week, spring fling weekend, hawktober homecoming and parents' weekend, hawks helping day of service, and so much more! At uhart there is always something to do and someone new to meet.
Get excited to show your uhart pride, as you cheer on the Hawks at the home games of one of our 17 Division I athletic teams.
If you just feel like staying in, we got you covered. We have game rooms with pool tables, table tennis, TV lounge areas, and a fire pit set up for you to take a break and enjoy times with friends.
Getting involved in student organizations, clubs, and campus activities enriches your experience, expands your campus network, and begins friendships that can last a lifetime.
uhart should feel like home. That’s why we offer flexible living arrangements to suit your individual lifestyle and preference.

The biggest thing that helped me make friends was doing all the activities Residential Life put together. Go to the club fairs and if you see something you like, just do it."
